We offer one-to-one French private lessons to suit the student’s needs.
Structure and Content of French Lessons
These are generally one hour-long but can be adapted. The content of the lessons is tailored to allow the students to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.
French lessons can take place in the form of informal conversations covering various topics such as holidays, leisure, culture or current affairs. They can be more structured and include a variety of activities including work on all 4 skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
These can suit holiday makers as much as business people who would like to keep practising and learning their French, or simply anyone who would like to keep learning and/or may consider preparing for an examination such as DELF or DALF to validate their level. The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi en Langue Française) are French proficiency certifications for non-native speakers awarded by the French Ministry of Education. The levels follow the Common European Framework of Reference, from A1-2 (basic user) through B1-2 (independent user) to C1-2 (proficient user).
